Statutory Notice – Proposal to Close Albury C of E VA Primary School

Following a decision by Hertfordshire County Council’s Cabinet, a statutory notice has been published on 24 February 2026 regarding the proposal to close Albury Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School with effect from 31 August 2026.

This publication marks the start of a four-week statutory representation period, which runs from 24 February 2026 until 24 March 2026. During this period, any person may submit comments or objections to the proposal.

Comments or objections must be received by Tuesday 24 March 2026.

They can be submitted:

A final decision on the proposal is scheduled to be taken by Cabinet on 22 April 2026.
