Christian Character and Values
Albury and Puller schools base their collective worship on the Liturgical Calendar and Christian values. A range of inherent Christian Values will be explored under the chosen 5 word values of the school. Children who demonstrate the Christian value will be noticed and awarded a class reward. Positive postcards will be given to the children who consistently show the Christian values.
Each class will have a display to show:

The Christian Values

Our Vision at Albury & Puller Memorial Federation
“Encourage one another and build each other up.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11
At Albury & Puller Memorial Federation, this message is at the heart of everything we do. It shapes our culture, guides our actions, and unites our school community.
What This Means for Our Pupils:
Children across our federation are guided by core values: respect, responsibility, kindness, positivity, and safety. Our behaviour curriculum equips them with the skills to live out these values every day—both in school and beyond. In collective worship, pupils explore Christian principles through Bible stories, spiritual reflection, art, and music, laying the foundation for lifelong moral and spiritual development.
What This Means for Our Staff:
Staff across both schools work collaboratively to teach not just academic subjects, but also essential life skills and Christian values. They champion one another, share expertise and resources, and build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and families—helping children grow in both character and confidence.
What This Means for Our Governors:
Governors provide strategic leadership rooted in our Christian vision. They guide the schools to achieve excellent educational outcomes while ensuring strong financial stewardship and accountability. Importantly, they uphold and develop the Christian distinctiveness of the federation, helping to sustain a faith-based ethos that touches every pupil’s experience.
What This Means for Our School Community:
Our wider school community plays a vital role in nurturing the success and well-being of our pupils. By promoting the school’s values, attending events, and showing kindness and respect to all—especially newcomers—they help maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere. In times of change or challenge, the community comes together in support, embodying the encouragement and unity found in our guiding scripture.
