School Council Meeting January 2026

The School Council held its first meeting of the year, focusing on gathering pupils’ ideas for future school trips. Children shared a variety of thoughtful and enthusiastic suggestions, including visits to museums, outdoor learning centres, farms, theatres, and local places of interest. The discussion encouraged pupils to consider trips that would be both enjoyable and educational for different year groups. All ideas were carefully recorded and will be shared with school staff to support future trip planning.

School Council Meeting March 2026

The School Council met to discuss plans and ideas for the upcoming Well-Being Week. The main aim of the meeting was to think of activities that could help students relax, feel supported, and improve their overall well-being at school.

Council members suggested several activities that could take place during the week. These included mindfulness or quiet time sessions in classrooms, sports and outdoor activities during breaks, and creative activities such as art or music to help students express themselves. We are all looking forward to a brilliant week to end the term.

School Council Meeting May 2026

The school council met to discuss plans for the upcoming Sports Day, sharing ideas to ensure the event is inclusive, enjoyable, and well-organised. Pupils suggested a range of activities, including both competitive races and fun events to encourage participation from everyone. There was discussion about team organisation, fairness, and ways to promote positive sportsmanship. Council members also considered how to involve all year groups and ensure clear communication in the lead-up to the event. Overall, the meeting reflected enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility, with pupils contributing thoughtful ideas to help make Sports Day a success.
