School Council

Who are they?
The School Council comprises of one child from each year group who have been elected by their classmates to represent each class' views.

What do they do?
The school council meets regularly with the Democracy Leader to talk about how the school can be improved for the children or problems that they would like to discuss with the headteacher.

The school councilors also choose children from their classes to receive the weekly Star of the Week and TERRIFIC awards which are awarded in our Achievement Assembly.

Children's Rights Ambassadors

Who are they?

Some children from our Years 4, 5 and 6 classes are selected to be our Children's Rights Ambassadors by the headteacher. This is an important role in Puller Memorial and it is their task to ensure that all children at our school know about the UNICEF Children's Rights. They are supported by our Democracy Leader and present a weekly assembly.
